In case you wish to attend the event, the provision of your personal data, as collected on the online form, is necessary for us to be able to organize the event.

More specifically, we process the personal data we collect from you for the following purposes:

  • Communicating to the attendees

  • Designing the event programme

  • Organising and communicating practical matters related to event venues, catering, etc.

  • Gathering feedback after the event or posting materials

Legal basis for our processing of your personal data:

The collection and processing of your personal data is necessary for our legitimate interest in organising the event.

Recipients of your personal data

  • The organizational committee of FERA Conference on Education 2022

  • The chairpersons of the conference seminars

  • Organising teams at the unit for Strategy and Science Policy

  • Webropol Oy, according to the principles stated in their Data Processing Agreement (DPA).

  • Eventilla oy, according to the principles stated in their Data Processing Agreement (DPA).


All the personal data collected from you will be processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). No data will be transferred outside the EU or the EEA.

Storage period of your personal data

  • Full personal information as we collect here: from time of collection until 31 December 2022

  • Abstracts and event programme (including names and contact details): indefinitely

  • You have the right to request from us access to and rectification or erasure of your personal data or restriction of processing concerning yourself or to object to processing, as well as the right to data portability, as stated in the GDPR.
